Pri-Med Educational Programmes Ltd is the leading educator of healthcare professionals in the UK, educating over 10,000 GPs at 110 events in 2011 alone.
We also run events across secondary care, for medicines management and commissioning teams, and provide additional education via Pri-Med Online, our interactive website.
We work to provide and share the most up-to-date clinical education with practising healthcare professionals. Education presented at Pri-Med meetings is multi-topical, evidence-based and practical.
We take our educational responsibility very seriously and to ensure consistently high standards, we utilise two main channels of review:
- Our medical team performs a thorough review of all educational content for accuracy before it is presented to GPs
- Delegate satisfaction questionnaires are analysed to direct attention to learning needs for the future
Our aim is to improve patient care by focusing on areas that our delegates deal with on a day-to-day basis. Our carefully chosen, top-quality speakers are all nationally recognised experts in their fields.
We choose venues that provide a highly interactive audio-visual environment for the education sessions and are easily accessible for our GPs.
Pri-Med live meetings are also the perfect opportunity for GPs to network with colleagues in their surrounding region.
Each live meeting typically consists of five sessions. Each session:
- Covers a different topic
- Features real-life application of the latest advancements in medicine
- Uses case studies to illustrate
- Allows participation via interactive keypad voting
- Provides question and answer opportunities
