Over 880 GPs attended Pri-Med Update, London, and the meeting was hugely popular, with delegates coming from as far away as Norfolk. The meeting was chaired by Dr James Kennedy, GP Principal and Partner, Cedar Brook Practice, Middlesex and Dr Raj Patel, PEC Chair and Board Member of Tameside and Glossop PCT.Delegates in attendance were engaged in to 6 educational sessions discussing “Changes to HbA1c Targets: What Does This Mean to You?” and “The Importance of LDL/C Lowering in Managing CVD Risk,” additionally, sessions discussed Erectile Dysfunction, Managing Hyperglycaemia and the Management & Treatment of Migraine. Finally, Dr Peter Evans discussed “Diagnosing and Differentiating Neuropathic Pain - Guidelines for GPs”
Delegates in attendance were also treated to a key note speaker, Professor Lord Robert Winston, who discussed the “Latest Treatments in the Management of Infertility”
