Due to the popularity of the Pri-Med Workshop – Insulin Management in March, Pri-Med returned to Manchester in December for the another Pri-Med Workshop – Insulin Management .The event invited Diabetic lead GPs and nurses from practices across London, to participate in a workshop style event. The event gives doctors and nurses the opportunity to share expertise, ask questions of the experts and debate case studies in a smaller, more intimate setting. The workshop was a huge success with education debating Insulin and Insulin Therapy, Insulin Initiation and Management, and common problems associated with Insulin. The day was finished off with an engaging and insightful session by the workshop facilitator Dr Stuart Bootle, who summed up how to take what they had learnt that day and put it into practice.
